We just got a Gateway 2000, which included a CD burner. "How in the world can I make CDs," I thought. Then my cousin came over.He downloaded a program called Sound Forge and showed me how to make a CD project for my mp3s.
It unlocked something in my brain. If I spent time learning the software, I could be the computer magician that made the magic happen.After that, I started selling mix CDs to my classmates, making $50-100 per week. Then, I learned how to make websites. I launched my first business when I was still in high school, and never looked back.While the technology has changed considerably since I started circa 1997, the thing that has remained is this: I love helping people use technology to save them precious time.And since becoming a dad, I know that the conflict of wanting to run a successful business while being there for my children is hard.
